David Martin

Director of Learning

David Martin is committed to education. After completing A Levels in Psychology, Philosophy and English, David began his higher education studying Psychology at the University of Stirling and later branched out to cover English and Philosophy, graduating with a BA in Humanities from the Open University in 2011.

Later that year, David travelled to Budapest to complete an intensive CELTA course (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) and taught English as a Foreign Language in Madrid the following year. He then returned to academia and completed a Masters Degree in Contemporary Literature at the University of Manchester in 2013.

David completed a PGCE in Secondary English in 2014 with Manchester Metropolitan University and went on to teach English at a secondary school for the next two and a half years. At Delphis, David combines his academic background with teaching experience to continue his commitment to education, and to health and wellbeing.
